Again this week was quieter than we are used to and we had a lot of new faces. Phil could only stay for a short time so I did the drinks which meant I didn’t have much time to circulate.

Surprisingly Doug was not at the kitchen this week but I will ask him whether he will accept a bed from us when I see him next.

Dawn and Mandy were back this week, they have not been for quite a while. They are both doing well although they have had the usual colds.

Mike was at the kitchen for the first time. He has been homeless for about 6 years and has spent the last 6 months in the North East and the last 6 weeks in Newcastle. He says that Newcastle is the best place to be homeless as it is the only place where he has actually put on weight! Mike is probably in his 40’s and does not appear to have any addictions.

Tom and Kiera have still not sorted out their benefits. Phil had picked them up to bring them to the kitchen and Richard kindly dropped them off.

The blankets that were picked up from Scotland are being made good use of.

As always your prayers for the work in general are greatly appreciated.
