It was a very busy kitchen again and we had just enough food for everyone.

It was good to welcome Paul to the kitchen and to introduce him to the volunteers and some of our clients.

It was good to see Tiny this week. He was a bit unsteady on his feet but otherwise was alright. He was very appreciative for the coat I had purchased for him.

It was good to see Tom at the kitchen, he has not been for a few months. He and Kiera have separated and he is struggling to sort out his bills on his own. He has heard from Darren, his little son, who is doing well and is learning to talk. Paul is going to help Tom get sorted.

Sarah and Dee were at the kitchen with their dog. It has been a long time since I have seen them. They are both still homeless but positive. We are concerned about Sarah’s health. She was chuffed with a windup radio she had although I think it was driving everyone crazy as it couldn’t find a station!

Sean visited the kitchen again to tell us how well he was doing with cutting out the alcohol. He is so grateful for the support and encouragement we have given him. It is good when we have positive news now and again.

A Scottish guy has been coming for the past few weeks. He is homeless and we were able to give him some bedding.

We have not seen Errol for a while and hope that he is ok.

As we had celebrated Rebecca’s wedding on Friday we took some of her wedding cake up for everyone. Rebecca had hoped to be there but was exhausted after all of the activities. They were all pleased for her and thoroughly enjoyed the cake!

As always your prayers are greatly appreciated.
